Michael Jackson Dead

Angry Robots Inc and Sloth have what I was saying. MJ wasn't exactly poor - he kept buying strange and weird things - but he was in debt, and every so often debt collectors would get pissy and he'd have to auction off a load of his stuff.

So yeah, if you equate "massively in debt" with "poor", indeed, he was living beyond his means, but had he the mental capabilities he could have lived very well. Except he didn't; he bought whatever he felt like and never thought about the cards being called in.

As for suspicions about his death... well, mentally he wasn't healthy but he was only 50, and death of heart attack does in my opinion warrant a little poking and prodding to check things out.

Actually, it's SOP for a situation where a person dies under mysterious circumstances (such as someone with no history of heart problems suddenly going into cardiac arrest).

The story in the link seems unsubstantiated. If it does come out that he lied, it would be all on Jordan's father's head since Jordan was just a kid at the time and probably thought he should just do whatever his parents told him to do.
I remember another woman who accused Jackson of molesting her son practically confessed to pimping out her son. Either way you look at it, these parents are bastards.

I liked Michael Jackson better than I like God.

Still, I'm not the kind of person who would kill myself over the death of someone I'm a fan of. The fact that people are committing suicide over Michael Jackson is kind of horrible. Though, I think it makes up for the lack of suicides after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows came out.
