I talked to myself for an hour without stopping before I realized what I was doing. I've also started using first-person plural pronouns. And carrying on two sides of a conversation with myself.

I was driving to school today and passed a company of Marines marching in the other lane. I'm about 40 miles from the nearest base. I guess they just wanted to go for a nice walk in the countryside.

That was actually kinda fun! I was in a Party Quest taking on the Mu Lung Dojo. What made it weird?

The party was composed of a Permabeginner (me) and three Permanoblese, which are essentially the Cygnus Knight version of a Permabeginner.

I just got back from a meeting at work, where we had to learn a turkey dance.

It wasn't today, but recently I went on a work related training course where we learned to fold a tee shirt. Which would make sense if I worked in the garment industry, but I don't.

I got three friend requests on Myspace.

I'd forgotten Myspace even existed.

I am now enjoying a glimpse into what my life was like when I was 21.

Apparently, I'm incapable of writing smut. My first real, determined try at complete and utter porniness drew reviews that praised it as a compelling character study.

They do say that characters should remain in-character even during sex, so congratulations. If the characters in question are extremely sexual anyway, porn isn't too removed from what's seen in canon.

But the weird thing was that they're not extremely sexual. I was depicting a couple, both hardened soldiers, working out their own (canonical) personal traumas via off-camera sexual power games; the canon itself doesn't have much sex, unless you count women in skimpy gear.

It was just a weird experience, I guess. I was trying for porn, and I wrote romance. XD

Nothing really weird has happened to me for quite a while.

Today I was walking my dog, and this collie-mix comes out of a house and stands there in the yard staring at us for a minute or so. He doesn't bark, not the least tail-wag, even. Then very slowly he crosses the street, cranes his neck to sniff noses with my dog--all entirely silently--and then turned and trotted back to his house. Granted, maybe he'd be de-barked, still...odd.

Just saw something VERY weird on the videos provided by Comcast. Apparently...NYC was holding a world cup for...

...Quiddich.

Anyone get the feeling JK Rowling is rolling in some nice profits from this?

I saw an advert for that. Pray tell, how does one play quiddich without flying brooms?

From what I saw in the video, they were basically running around a field with brooms in their crotches kinda like kids with their stick-ponies.

I wish I were kidding...

I was completely burned out on NaNo, so I closed the document, opened a fresh page and wrote a Neopets story instead. Ah, nostalgia.

Played Assassin's Creed for the first time today. Could not for the life of me find the Save button.
