Okay, I actually like the Duracell bunny in the ads. He's small and cute and has the cool sunglasses. But this...this is an abomination unto man, and possibly a sign of the End of Days.
The bunny is actually for Energizer. Though he was originally conceived as a Take That to a series of Duracell commercials involving powered toys.

I cannot be the only one frigging annoyed by the commercials for Broadview Security (formerly Brinks Home Security). For those not familiar with the product, let me thumbnail sketch EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR COMMERCIALS.

There is only one commerical I find kind of believable. That's the one with the jealous ex boyfriend. All the other ones are fucking laughable at the very best. Now I'm actually flipping through the channels looking for bad commericals.

The latest Burger King commercial. New Moon promo + the King mascot = disturbing and NO.

My sons heartly agree with you. Actually, everyone on the staff but the owner agrees with you. Andrew says they're taking bets on what the executives were smoking when they came up with the idea.
Sadly, however, it's selling like hotcakes. There are millions of pre-teen and teenage girls out there who cream themselves at the mere mention of 'Twilight.' (and I suspect a good many of their moms do to). You've got a ready-made market just waiting outside your door.

Doesn't Burger King kind of clash with the brooding vampire image? Just a skoosh?

Hence the questions as to what management was smoking at the time. On the other hand, as Morgan pointed out, they couldn't very well go with a media campaign that featured the Cullens chasing down small animals and ripping them to pieces.

The current Miller Light campaign, which apparently is aimed at the douchebag demographic.
Observe:
There's also the newer one, where the girlfriend is playing the oh-so-obnoxious "Me or X hanging off a cliff game". Douchebag stumbles when she gets to "me or your Miller Light" (Why would you even ask "me or the beer?")
Miller Light: Preferred Beer of Jackasses Everywhere.

^That ad would seem to imply "This Beer Repulses Women". Why... why would that be a selling point for a product?

My sister and I got into a discussion over the Heineke ads, because the jaw-dropping sexism in commercials has been a pet issue of mine for years. Afterward, she dug up this link for me. Target Women is a lovely, snarky tour through horribly sexist ads, and highlights any number of commercials we've already tagged as godawful, and more besides. The Brooks Home Security video is my favorite so far, for those looking for a starting point. Wulfie, this one's for you.

I forgot to mention that when I brought up Broadview earlier. The Broadview agent is NEVER A WOMAN! Or even a black guy. It's ALWAYS Whitey McBroadshoulders on the other end with a reassuring tenor voice.

Lexin:
It starts out with snarky announcer lady stating that women are never safe, not even while playing soccer with their daughters at home in broad daylight. Cue Broadview Security ad showing Mr. Evil McEvilpants in a black jacket eyeballing the happy family through a hole in the fence and subsequently breaking the front door down in the middle of the day, but running off when the sirens go "awooga!" Broadview Security's Mr. Whitey McModel calls and makes sure the poor widdle woman is okay. Cut back to snarky announcer lady who says "Thank god she had Broadview and that that idiot Evilpants wasn't exactly subtle."
In this peaceful era we live in, she goes on to say, it's easy to forget there's always someone on the outside watching you and waiting to rape you. It goes on to show the "stalker ex" ad mentioned above as well as a "stalker person the woman has only met once" ad, stating that these "rape fable" commercials have moved on from sinister looking dudes in black hoodies to people the rape-victim-to-be knows.
It ends with the snarky lady stating, "In a world of terrible men just waiting to jump you, it's nice to know that the clean-cut boys of Broadview are just one terrible assault attempt away." Cue sinister looking dude in black hoody breaking down the backstage door and an alarm blaring as well as the phone ringing - snarky lady has herself a date! <3

Thank you.
Yes, I can see why that's inappropriate/creepy.
The UK show "Crimewatch" always finishes with a voice over saying something along the lines of: "Violent crime is very rare. Don't have nightmares." Seems a lot more reasonable than someone trying to scare you into buying security you don't need.

No, the American Way is a shotgun.
Security systems are a joke. Beyond having a sign posted out to "keep honest people honest" they don't stop anything and they'll never get the cops there in time, since they wanna make sure a squirrel, glitch, or code-forgetful homeowner didn't set it off by mistake.

It's actually a commie gun with a drum, can't remember the exact type though and Youtube resolution makes identification next to impossible. It's not a PPSh-41.

Not that i'm complaining about these commericals. But I'm clearly not the target demo.
Really, what is the message here? "Embrace your objectification?" "Men are pigs, run with that?"

Not quite a commercial - it's a PSA - but this is still terrifying.
