So, as I originally implied, either you've got a bunch of panicky idiots arming themselves against the next random mass shooter or a bunch of paranoid idiots who think the Guv'mnt is going to use this as an excuse to crack down on guns. Neither scenario says good things about the people involved.

Right now, pundits and politicians are bawling for a return of the 1994 AWB, with Bloomberg going so far as to say that cops across the nation should go on strike until more gun control is enacted. It's not like this idea sprung organically from nothing.
