Not the very, very worst film you'll ever see, but unbearably DULL, with about a million plotholes, and a really, REALLY apalling ending that SCREAMS "Insert Sequel Here" but never got around to it, thank GOD.
I think the only thing I liked about that movie was the beginning.

Holy shit, I agree with Harley, completely. The only thing Ghost Ship had going for it was Gabriel Byrne--who I think must have needed the money.

99% true, but the beginning of Ghost Ship with the slicing wire was a thing of beauty. No-way-hell-yes-Dear-Mythbusters beauty.
Most of the spate of remakes belong in this thread-- Prom Night, Halloween, The Omen, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Willard, The Fog, The Hitcher if you count that as horror. I'd put House of Wax on this list but I have no idea which/any version it's supposed to be a remake of, given its unique brand of insanity. Worst offender here is, of course, The Wicker Man.
Also, Hellraiser III and up. Hellbound was not as bad because a lot of the original creative team was still involved. But from Hell On Earth on out, it deteriorated fast and killed my Barker-fangirl soul.

Wickerman, and many of these other terrible movies, are good for those days when you invite your snarky friends over to drunkenly laugh at it with you. What do you call them, C movies? D movies? Good times.
Does anyone remember this Sci-Fi Channel movie where these army guys were fighting alien velociraptors? That one is great for shits and giggles.

I'd forgotten about the wire.
And the remake of Willard wasn't horror, it was comedy. I swear to God. When I heard it was about a guy befriending a psychotic rat (so to speak), I had to see it--and I wasn't disappointed. Total crap for horror, but it was terribly funny.

You just described a good third of the Sci-Fi channel's movies.

The slicing wire was cool. It was, unfortunately, the ONLY good thing about that movie.

DUN DUN DUN DUUUUH
This alone might possibly make this the worst horror movie ever created. Or the plot, I mean really it's hard to decide. "Hi I'm a reporter and OH MY GOD THESE PEOPLE WORSHIP BEES AND I'M SCARED OF BEES AND SO I'M GOING TO GO AROUND PUNCHING PEOPLE AND STEALING THEIR BIKES."

I'm surprised no one mentioned Anacondas. The movie that made me glad to know I didn't pay money (my cousin took me) and I was thinking my other cousin, who was five at the time, shouldn't be watching this.

'Boo', from 2005. It sounded decent enough on the back cover, but it really isn't and I will never get those 90 minutes back.
Part of me hopes it is a parody, but to be perfectly honest it even failed on that level.
And the worst part is someone had slapped a 'We Recommend' sticker on it. Why, Blockbuster, why?

I found a series on TGWTG where a couple German guys review all these bad movies: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Included: Death Bed, Uncle Sam, Night of the Lepus, Gingerdead Man, Flesh Eating Mothers, and Ghoulies 3: Ghoulies go to College.
Classics.

Terror Toons. It is hilariously, awfully, terribly bad. It is a Z-movie. The budget was somewhere below my monthly income, and I do not have a job. Me and my boyfriend were laughing so hard in the first ten minutes, we couldn't breath. XD

I haven't seen Terror Toons myself, but I've heard enough about it to feel it richly deserves its lousy reputation.

Hey, my sister and I loved 'Night of Lepus.' How can you not love a 'horror movie' that contains the line 'There's a giant herd of killer rabbits headed this way!"?

There's good "bad" movies, and then there's just bad movies. I thought Troll 2 was funny, thus, it had a redeeming feature. Valentine, on the other hand, yeeesch...
