Commercials That Make You Smile, or Make a Darn Good Point

You may not be able to remember what they were selling, but you still get a chuckle out of how they did it. Or you enjoy it so much that you turn it up when it comes on. Or it tugs your heartstrings without overdoing it. This thread is for the good commercials.

1. Some shampoo or other--I think. Most of the commercial is a woman dancing through her own house in comfortable sloppy clothes, karaoke-ing "You Make Me Feel Like a Natural Woman" into her hairbrush, until she goes past a doorway and sees her husband/SO leaning there with this "My goofball sweetie, I wish I had a camera" expression. "YOUUUU MAKE ME FEEL LIKE A NATURAL WOMAAA-David!" Priceless, mostly because of the acting IMO.

2. Nabisco turns two-year-old kid loose with full gallon jug of milk, glass (presumably unbreakable!), and pack of Oreos. Hilarity ensues. Plus the whole series of dunking Oreos with your BFFs from dance glass, Grampa, your big brother, whomever. Just cute.

3. "Boom De Yada." 'Nuff said.

I'll always love the Budweiser "Rocky" commercial.

There's this funny series of Sprite commercials that always runs in the movie theaters down here.

The formula goes: "Hey, you, Sprite's got something to tell you..."

One ad points out that your mom knows you masturbate (shot of mom cleaning his porn collection), and another one says 'girls smell your desperation'. And this one, for example, is about love making you stupid. Link!

The tag line is 'Sprite: telling you how it is'.

I linked the Argentinian voiceover, but they get different voiceovers according to each country. In PR, the narrator is FAR more snarky. The 'lalala' music is always there and adds to the snark.

Everytime I go to the movies, I love seeing this commercial. So much.

Oh, I love those Sprite commercials! I don't know about the masturbation one, but I've definitely seen the "girls smell your desperation" one.

Sprite also had a CGI commercial that started with the first verses a very well known Romanian ballad being narrated ("The Little Ewe" is the English translation, according to Wikipedia. It's about a magical talking sheep, except not really). The image shows a small shed on top of a hill, with sheep filing in, one by one. Inside, a wolf with an electric razor is shaving them and chuckling evilly. Then, a green, Sprite-drinking sheep comes along and there is commotion in the shed. Finally, the wolf, shaved to look like a poodle, if I recall correctly, bursts out and runs down the hill.

The badass green sheep then casually leans on the doorframe, grins and chugs some more Sprite. It was hilarious.

I'm actually kinda miffed I can't find it on YouTube, but it was from very long ago. Nine years, at least.

This one's funny because it actually started a meme. Whenever someone insisted on something that was blatantly wrong, they would be mocked with "Batman! Batman!"
