Mackenzie Phillips Discusses 10 Year Sexual Relationship with her Dad

One one side are people who support her and feel she is a victim and applaud her for coming forward to heal from sexual abuse. On the other side are those who think she is a liar and making it up for publicity. Ugh, I would think she would pick something else from her life to make up, honestly to get attention.

And don't say Hellfire three times or she'll appear.

That is So Weird.

I feel horrible for her. What she went through was abuse, even after it became "consensual". Just because you're not a child anymore doesn't make it any better. I felt the same way about Hellfire.

That's just fucking sick. Consensual or not that is just *shudders* ew.

Liar indeed... Why the hell would somebody want to lie about something like that? There are much more easier ways of getting attention than that.

In all probability these people are trolls, but ontd is about as stupid as 4chan, so I wouldn't put it past them to be serious.

Err...right. Sexual abuse, horrific. I'm sorry the woman had to suffer through something like that and that her father also led her into becoming an addict. Terrible childhood to live through, glad she overcame it.

I know it's a small thing, really, but I don't think that I can enjoy the Mamas and the Papas' music all that much after hearing this.
