Simple viral video angers North Korea

Specifically, this one:



"According to the Chosun Ilbo, a South Korean newspaper, officials in Pyongyang are reportedly furious about the 3 and a half minute video because it “seriously compromises Kim's dignity and authority." - NBC News

It was a bad idea to agitate about the video. Sure, it's kind of funny and has a great song set to it, but lots of viral videos do. It would probably be forgotten in a few weeks had Un decided to ignore it. Now that he's brought it to people's attention, there are going to be thousands of these kinds of videos. This one doesn't even portray him as a bad guy, more of a beleagured nice guy who is constantly getting beaten up by Barack Obama.

Common sense isn't exactly Kim Jong Un's strong suit. Remember, we're talking about a guy who orders artillery shells lobbed at Seoul every time somebody looks at him funny and threatens nuclear holocaust once every fifteen minutes. Any video that portrays him as anything other than the greatest thing since sliced bread was bound to set him off.
