I'm inclined to agree with Grmbls. While I don't think North Korea has the 'One Child Policy' that China has, they DO have the tendency to favor sons over daughters. Any country who prefers one sex of child over another probably isn't going to be too upset if 'unwanted' baby girls go missing.

Edited to add-The problem's serious enough that China no longer tells pregnant woman what sex their unborn child is because female fetusus have been aborted in the past at such a high rate that there's already a large gap between the number of men who want to marry and the number of women available.

That certainly doesn't stop the Chinese from performing forced abortions and sterilizations. This is the equivocation of a cow trying to fly while quacking like a duck.

Not only has the smuggling of Soylent Capsules not stopped, it's on the increase and they've branched out to dogs and other animals too.

Uh, no. They actually do eat dogs. I think they mainly eat cats for medicinal purposes, though. (I know that in Korea, broth made from cats is supposed to be good for rheumatism. The Koreans got their ideas on tradidtional medicine from China.)
