The song itself isn't bad so much as it is bland, but...... ugh, just LISTEN to the lyrics.
"Sarah has enough sense to walk through an open door." I wonder if that was on one of the cue cards McCain gave her too?
And people wonder why I'm glad I'm not American.

I really hope that this is a case of Poe's Law.
Otherwise, I might feel the need to soak my head in concentrated bleach.

If I listened to anymore, I think I might go insane. That alone, Asylum, is outright painful to listen to. I've no taste for Country, and that was just screwed up.
Per chance, Asylum, Canada wouldn't have any room in, say, Montreal or even in some other small town to allow an American to defect, would there? Because after this song, I kind of wish I wasn't American.

Because as a Canadian you can enjoy Cindy Crosby's fluke goals?

Also, why, in the name of Jesus' left testicle, would you want to live to in Montreal?

Because, Mikey you ignorant slut, Montreal is a nice city. Have you been to it at all? I have. Not as of late, but I've been there. That's beside the point.

Oh good, you were paying attention to that.
I don't use the term often, but in Mikey or Chris' case, I make an exception.
Or would you rather I go around belittling other posters like you?

I think I've heard this particular tune somewhere before. Hmm...
Also, more and more lately I've been thinking that the increasing radicalization of American politics could be averted/reversed if they started awarding seats in, say, Congress as a function of the proportion of votes each party gets, rather than just giving them to the person with the majority of votes. It'd lead to a bigger presence and voice for the smaller parties (like the Greens, who do have a following but are basically absent from the political scene), instead of it just being an either-or situation between Republicans and Democrats.

Ian, you belittled every woman here when you used that word. It's sexist and misogynistic. I'd excise it from my vocabulary if I were you.

Of course. They didn't come up much in the Bible though.

I haven't been to Pittsburgh in two years. You're just buttmad that the Ravens are permanently inferior to the Steelers.

Why wouldn't he?
He was circumcised, so he at least had a penis.

Awww, I thought the same until I heard some Johnny Cash and some Hank III.
Here, have some good country:

You and me both.

This. Also it makes you look really arrogant when you say that Ian using "bitch" is an insult/belittling to every woman here, another woman tells you she didn't feel insulted and furthermore asks you not to speak on her behalf, and you blow her off.
Frankly, I really don't care either. "Bitch" is becoming an increasingly less gendered insult, as well.
ANYWAY.
*listens to the song* "Sarah Palin: she'll throw 'em all in jail!" Because jailing your political/idealogical opponents is the sign of a healthy democracy.
