And really, claiming society not to be unfair where it has been demonstrated time and again that it is from those who have experienced it reeks of selective blindness. I mean, why are you so hell bent on believing that there is absolutely nothing wrong? Would it really devastate you *that* much to note that unfairness and oppressions between the sexes exists?

He has addressed me before and refused to listen. I think he is really THAT convinced that nothing is wrong with society except our feelings about it. He's very defensive and doesn't appear to be willing to listen to the point or at least keep an open mind, and I at least have done my best to be as un-accusatory as I can.
