A Hobart man- Gary John Devine- has pleaded guilty to prostituting a 12-year-old girl to more than 100 men.

Prosecutor Daryl Coates said Devine, the mother and the girl resolved to start the prostitution — charging men $100 for half an hour and a further $50 if they did not want to wear a condom.

The court heard the girl is now suffering from sexually transmitted diseases including Chlamydia and genital warts.
