NSFW, Trigger warning, graphic depictions of rape and gore
So this video has been making the rounds of the extreme music community for about a month now, with people awestruck by how it's the most tr00, br00tal music video ever created by humans. If by tr00 and br00tal you mean "vapidly retched".

Oh come off of it. You just want a socially conscious excuse to be...

By taking rape and torture and using them as the shiny corvette for your Big Social Commentary.
And now for the video itself.
#1 The Target - Really? The WBC? Your video wasn't already ham-fisted enough? You had to go with the easiest target imaginable? Lazy motherfuckers.
Newsflash! Everyone who is not actually a member of the Westboro Baptist Church hates the Westboro Baptist Church and wishes they would go away. You are preaching to the choir.
Here's a novel idea. What is it like to be raised in a creepy, semi-incestuous hate-cult with little to no access to the outside world? Walk a mile in their moccasins or whatever your Big Social Commentary is...
#2 The Content - This is not Big Social Commentary. This is a juvenile revenge fantasy. Maybe Cattle Decapitation
did have the best intentions in the creation of this. Maybe they do, genuinely, truly, believe that the only way they can try to make a difference in peoples minds is to be absolutely revolting and they really wanted people to better themselves by watching this. That's an admirable goal. But the execution of that goal fails because you need to make rape your personal Thought Choo-choo and/or playground. This isn't thought-provoking, it's sensationalist exploitation and you can tell because people are reacting to it that way. Teenagers are posting their reactions on YouTube.
Your video is no better than the video for "Party Rock Anthem". Maybe it has some kind of sociocultural meaning, but all you've done is make a pile of infantile silliness. At least "Party Rock Anthem" didn't trivialize rape.
