If this is true, it is both horrible and hilarious

Reportedly, although the main sources aren't all that reputable, two British holidaymakers were searched, held overnight and then sent home from a Los Angeles airport after being linked with Twitter accounts on which they made comments interpreted as "intent to commit crimes in the united states". The two comments in question were:

which is apparently a quote from Family Guy, and

Free this week, for quick gossip/prep before I go and destroy America?

'destroy' being a fairly common slang term over here for "go get drunk and act stupidly in" (eg, "we're going to go and destroy London", "we're going to destroy this club tonight").

Anyway, I'm almost hoping that this is true because of how ridiculous it is; the Mail article has a quote from the documents they were given upon deportation:

Also on his tweeter account Mr Bryan posted that he was coming to destroy America.

I think that about says it all, really.

But Marilyn Monroe was cremated and her ashes are not buried. Kind of hard to dig up something that's basically in a whole in the wall.
