There it is ladies and gentlemen, a loving homage to Jaws, where the great killer shark that haunted our dreams is replaced by, erm, a tree.
Filmed in 2000 and with a sequel about a swam of killer Christmas trees filmed a few years later, terrible terrible rip off movie, or the greatest horror film of all time?

That came out about 8 years after this wonder of cinematography and is no where near as so bad it's good.

Really? This film: running a joke dead into the ground. (Seriously. Bored with it after the trailer. Can't imagine it filling up an entire movie.) The Happening: people running away from the wind. Markie Mark (and his frown) talking to a plastic plant. Death by rampaging lawn mower. People running away. From THE WIND.
Yeah. Putting my money on The Happening.

Maybe if the trees were like LOTR's huorns, now those could make a nice horror premise. Revenge of the forest!

That's ridiculous. Why would anyone be scared of a tree?

You should be afraid of trees if you lived in Australia.

I'm afraid of everything in Australia. Is there anything there that doesn't want to kill all humans?

Oh, come on! The birds are so obviously Photoshopped onto the film! It's almost too lame to be funny.

It's so bad I don't think I want to kill any brain cells watching it though.

Calling this movie's production values "bargain basement" would be showing it more respect than it deserves.
