A vote for science is a vote for PORN

Here's the scenario:

You're a socialism-paranoid Texas rep. Spending shitloads of money on stuff is a bad, bad, thing, BUT DONT YOU DARE CUT MEDICARE.

Then this bill comes around that aims to pour said shitloads of money into science and technology development. But obviously, any kind of spending of any sort = MARXIST SOCIALISM, and you need to kill this dead quick. How?

The really sad thing is, I clicked on this thread expecting to find some crazy was literally saying science promoted porn or something.

I really don't want to know if my cousin had anything to do with this. I gave up looking up his sponsored bills after finding out he co-sponsored the 'dancing cheerleaders leads to sex' thing a few years ago.
