A dope house. Yeah, that's a great environment for a 5-week-old. Why, they even have free baby-sitting services. After all, it's a house, isn't it? Kids live in houses; this is no different!

"Not sober" apparently means "tripping out of her fucking mind, and dangerous enough to slice up her son like he was a loaf of bread", in this case.

Holden, now 2 years old, lives with Camden Gothia's sister and her husband, who were given permanent custody after Nadal and Gothia relinquished their parental rights. His father sees him regularly.

I remember when this happened. Sick, sick woman. Poor kid is going to have to live with this for the rest of his life. What chance does he have at normalcy? Hopefully his aunt can give him the loving and safe environment his mother couldn't.

Yes, the dog, you see, is actually a doggy genius. The dog obtained an instrument to mutilate the child, did so, ate all the evidence, washed itself thoroughly, and is now laughing at its owner being put on trial.
