My good thing: At the end of a quarter full of shit, quite possibly the worst on record, one of my students came up, handed me his final, and says, "You're kind of a badass. And I like that." Plus, I've had any number of students write nice messages in their exams about how much they liked me and my class. It's nice to get positive feedback after all the fucking misery over the last three months.

Yes, I do have a lawyer HOWEVER I have been told by community resources that the EEOC should be able to take care of it but whenever I go, they say "erp, no, tribal, kick it back"

So I'm still unsure of how to proceed BUT it's good they fired me for this

A friend of mine finally came out about being transgendered, and starting transitioning. I'm the first person he told; and I feel all special now to have been trusted with this. I'm helping him choose his new name!

So the other day, my neighbor apparently suffered a small stroke while trying to find his way back to his apartment. His guts were also hemhorraging. He looked dead when I saw him, except trying to stand. He kept telling me to take him to his apartment so he could get some rest- then knock on my door in the morning to call an ambulance.

Fuck no, dude. You're going right the fuck now.

Just saw him around the complex yesterday. Good to know he's alright, that son of a bitch.

It's amazing in that not only do they consider my values worthwhile, and not only do they see me as the kind of person who will speak up, but they are also the kind of people who recognize that the wear and tear of being working parents can make you lose sight of what you wanted, so they are explicitly building a network of people who would stop them, if necessary.

I got out of the apartment and hung out with friends today. It's been a while since I've had the energy to go outside. Getting off meds seems to be better for me than being on them.

I have another interview on Friday. So far, no dice, however.

Don't know how the hell I managed an interview to be a bartender o.O

I don't even know what I want to do with my life, however. It's like, okay I have my whole life to figure out this shit, but at the same time I just wish to get it going already.

My girlfriend and I are however contemplating letting our lease end, moving to her mom's basement, leaving our shit there, and buying bus tickets to wherever we wish.
