Ant mega-colony takes over world

I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords.

Not really awful news, but kinda scary when you think about it. Ants are beginning to network.

They haven't managed to get Antarctica yet, so if things go poorly we'll have somewhere to retreat to.

Shit, they're teeny weeny little Tyrathca! Don't let them get too intelligent, 'cause oh god look what happened to the universe the last time a caste society gained sentience and spaceflight.

Then again, the Kiint looked more insecty in my mind, but the Tyrathca has a more insect like psychology.
