| He has AIDS. - Quote :
- An HIV-positive Winnipeg man is accused of exposing his mother to the potentially life-threatening disease by raping her while she was passed out.
The 28-year-old accused was ordered to stand trial this week on charges of aggravated sexual assault and incest following a preliminary hearing.
...
The 50-year-old woman tested negative for HIV following the 2009 attack. Police have not released any details about the case, which was uncovered by the Winnipeg Free Press this week through court documents. That's pretty much all that was said about that case; the rest of the article goes on to detail other cases where AIDS has played a role.

| I can't decide what's more horrific-that he was her son, that he raped her while she was passed out, or that he's HIV positive. Given that it can take years for symptoms of AIDS to manifest, this poor woman's going to be sitting on a ticking time bomb for Lord knows how long.

It was in 2009 and the article said she had afterwards tested negative for HIV, so I don't think she has it. I suppose that's the only ray of light in this entire putrescence.
