Harry has a twin named Rose

Let's mark the number of canon fails, shall we?

Quote :

"I'm Ron Weasley." he said, extending his hand, which she shook.

The other red head spoke. "And I'm Ginny Weasley, this bloke's twin sister."

FAIL! Ginny is younger than Ron by a year.

Quote :

The black haired boy spoke "I'm Harry Potter."

Rose nearly choked on the gum she was chewing.

She spoke. "I'm Rose Potter."

Harry looked at Rose shocked and a little confused.

"I was never told I had another living family member! They said that my Aunt Petunia was the only family I had left. When's your birthday?" he hurriedly asked. Word's spilling from his mouth quickly, and almost unintelligibly.

Gotta love how Harry automatically assumes they're related because they have the same last name as opposed to assuming that it's all just a coincidence or something.

Oh and as the story goes on it turns out that animagi are as common as milkweed pollen and everyone is cool and accepting of werewolves.

Quote :

"ROSE! TIME TO WAKE UP!" yelled a woman with long, curly, black hair, and hazel eyes.
"COMING AUNT JENNY!" was the response of a girl with flaming red hair, and green eyes, as she bounded down the stairs.

It's like she had to get the descriptions out of the way early, and get on with the story.

Quote :

Rose was on the train searching for a place to sit. She looked into a compartment that held a black haired boy and two red heads of opposite gender.

The awkward wording of the bolded part makes it sound like Harry is there with two red-haired girls.

Quote :

A girl with brown hair and slightly bucked teeth walked in, breaking the suspenseful silence. "Have any of you seen a toad? A boy named Neville has lost one."

So this is first year. In which case, why is Ginny there?

Oh, right, the author wants it that way.

There laughter was interrupted when two kids asked if they could sit in the compartment.
One was Collin Oxford a boy with blond hair and blue eyes, the other was Vega Jenkins, a girl with black hair and black eyes.

Boy, that's a crowded compartment. I'm guessing these are OCs, as I don't recognize the names from the books.

Cue a copied-and-pasted scene directly from the book, only with the OCs added in.

It's no surprise that the OCs are sorted into Gryffindor. All three of them. Why don't the fanbrats ever put their characters into Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw? Just one?

Rose looked up. "With Aunt Jenny, why who do you live with?" she asked.
"Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon, whose aunt Jenny?" Harry questioned.
"Aunt Jenny is dad's sister, we live in Potter Manor, who's Aunt Petunia?" she asked.
"Aunt Petunia is mum's sister, they hate magic." Harry said looking down.
"No! Don't worry Harry, I'll owl Aunt Jenny and you can stay with us, after all we ARE your family." said Rose.

First of all -- Potter Manor?

Second, why, in ten years, has no one turned up a trace of this family? Either they really didn't do a good job of looking, or someone has delusions of grandeur.
