Even the title is racist.

It's been a while since I've done this, and I figured I'd go after an original fic for once. Here's a little gem from FictionPress. This is more likely than not a trollfic. I don't care.

I present to you: The Wind Nigger.

Quote :

A black man and an oriental man
Were sitting at the park
As they did every day for years
They always talked until it was dark

Okay, it starts normally enough...

Quote :

The black man said to his friend
"I've always wanted to know.."
"How can somone be a yellow nigger?"

That's a good question.

Quote :

The oriental man replied and said
"Anyone can be a nigger, in their heart"

I'm pretty sure it doesn't work that way.

After being drowned out by a passing cart and having to repeat himself:

He then reached into his messenger bag
And pulled out his home made Nigger Chart

I'm glad he made his own, rather than waste money buying one from the store.

Quote :

The oriental man showed the black man
The one nigger that he loves

The one that doesn't put up with the n word?

Quote :

He says "this one is the wind nigger"
"They soar gracefully like doves

At last, the title character is mentioned. Took long enough.

Quote :

Then out of the sky falls
A beautifull newborn baby wind nigger

You don't see that everyday. And have you noticed the tense change? Bad author, no biscuit!

The oriental says "he won't be able to fly"
"Until his nigger wings are bigger"

I'd say something funny about this, but I'm tapped out. (That is, if any of this was funny.)

Now that I think about it, I sure as hell hope this is a trollfic. If this is for real, I can't even imagine what would lead someone to think anything like this is okay.

Ours is, indeed, a post-racial society.

As a sidenote: FictionPress (and possibly FanFiction.net; I haven't checked) no longer lets you copy and paste story text, which made this a lot harder.

Yes, FanFiction.net won't allow you to copy and paste anymore, but there is a workaround--click on the cell phone icon at the top of the page, then look for the story. Then you can copy and paste to your heart's content.

That's pretty useful. I found it also just as easy to right-click on the story page and select "Save Page As" (Might be different for other browsers, but this method is for Firefox) and save to a Notepad and import it to the a .doc or something.

But yeah, no, that works too.

I chalk it up to a combination of clinical insanity and sheer brainlessness. No human being with a fully functioning cerebral cortex would even consider spewing out such a blatant goulash of fail and ethnic insensitivity(which makes me wonder if CWC didn't secretly pen this under an alias). I've come across some train wrecks in my time, but this story is more like a full-scale nuclear meltdown. The title alone screams "I'm an ignorant hater", and the rest of the story only confirms the author's bigory. If this thing were made available on Amazon.com the site would crash in less than five minutes from all of the negative feedback the story would immediately and deservedly get from reviewers.

P.S. The author makes David Duke look enlightened.
