Rodney King dead at 47

As the title says: Rodney King dead at 47.

I honestly don't know how to feel about this. On the one hand, he was the central figure - the victim - in one of the most polarizing racial incidents in America since the Civil Rights Movement (only the OJ trial came close).

On the other hand, he's spent the last two decades being a drunken piece of shit; in and out jail as much as he was in and out of rehab.

Still, 47 is too young, no matter what I personally might think of him.

Regardless of what he was before the incident and what he was afterwards, he did provide the people with a clip of the simplest question we should all be asking ourselves: "Can't we all [just] get along?"

If he was a drinker or druggie it's not out of the question he fell, cranked his head, and ended up unconscious in the pool.

I remember like yesterday the LA rebellion sparked by the Rodney King case. There had been multiple incidents leading building up to it, and finally the people had had enough.
