Russia fights the "Gay Agenda", one city at a time

Freedom of speech? Not in Russia. Because clearly, any child who so much as hears about homosexuality will catch the gay cooties.

Homosexuality was decriminalized in Russia in 1993 and gay clubs operate in most big cities, but discrimination is still widespread. Most attempts by Alexeyev's group to hold rallies have been thwarted by riot police and activists with Russia's dominant Orthodox Church and pro-Kremlin youth movements.

BTW The case Fischer is discussing in this piece is the murder of 15-year old Lawrence King, who, in Fischer's opinion wouldn't have been murdered if he hadn't been so darn gay. This, of course, means that it was King's fault he was murdered, not the guy who murdered him.

Many people are drawing comparisons to the international outcry over anti-gay laws in Uganda, with the near-silence from world leaders on this issue. It's a fair point.

c, The use and effectiveness of ex-gay therapy.

Case and point: Michelle Bachmann was warning us over the 'rise of the Soviet Union' not all that long ago.

She's not all that old (mid fifties? Okay, she's getting on...) but she is definitely crazy, and she's surely not alone.
