Oh come on, you're police officers for godssake, and stoned off your asses with pot you got for free by confiscating it! Just go down to the 24-hour gas station and tell them you're confiscating these suspicious-looking bags of chips, and if the kid behind the counter doesn't like you can arrest him too!

So, they get high on duty, arrest a bunch of kids, fucking brag about it on computers which record everything (and are apparently too stupid to even try to erase it?) and they don't even get suspended?! Is Houston really that desperate for police officers that suspending a couple of potheads would put the force in a difficult position? Or is this just another example of obstructionist officials protecting their own bumbling employees, at the expense of the safety of the people they're supposed to protect?

Why have these men not been fired? And if possession and consumption of pot is so illiegal, why aren't they under trial for using it or something? Or do cops get a free 'Get Out Of Jail' card now?

There will be a formal investigation to make sure all of this did happen, then there will be some bureaucratic BS, THEN they'll be fired. And possibly indicted on pot related charges, if the local prosecutors get a boner at the prospect of media coverage.
