| MSPaint AdventuresA young man stands in his bedroom. It just so happens that today, the 13th of April, is this young man's birthday. Though it was thirteen years ago he was given life, it is only today he will be given a name!
What will the name of this young man be? This young man is Zoosmell Pooplord John Egbert, a budding prankster with a bad taste in movies and a penchant for being adorable. After shitting around with his crappy inventory system (some might find this part a bit boring, I laughed the whole way through), he will get together with his three Internet buddies - snarky Rose Lalonde, ironically cool Dave Strider and kooky Jade Harley - and begin to play Sburb, a multiplayer game beta with real-life effects that will change their lives forever. SUDDENLY METEORS. SUDDENLY WEIRD TIME SHIT. SUDDENLY ELDRITCH ABOMINATIONS. SUDDENLY A LOVABLE BUNCH OF INTERNET TROLLS WITH RAINBOW BLOOD, WICKED COOL SPECIAL ABILITIES (LIKE CONTROLLING ANIMALS AND TASTING COLOR) AND ODD IDEAS ABOUT ROMANCE. SUDDENLY JUGGALO VS. HIPSTER SCIENCE WIZARD VS. PSYCHO BITCH VS. GLOWING VAMPIRE WITH A CHAINSAW. And it is ridiculously awesome. And LONG. There are nearly 5500 pages of it and counting, with 6 pages added on average each day. A lot of the plot is conveyed through Pesterlogs, which are basically chatlogs the characters communicate through. You NEED to read the Pesterlogs, and any text accompanying the pictures, otherwise you will miss half the plot and all the fun. Sometimes there are flash updates, some of which are interactive, most of which are seriously epic. There is also music. Amazing music of pure awesome. Homestuck is a very special webcomic. And you should all read it. I HEARTILY RECOMMEND IT. | |

Though recent updates did make me a little sad (Gamzee, how could you!)
It was all made better by Kanaya suddenly becoming super badass.
And the music, oh the music! Favorite troll themes have to be: Equius's, Kanaya's and Nepeta's. | |
