Re: the OP. Yeah, I can see how it's rape. Sticking your finger up someone's arse without their consent is a non-consensual violation, isn't it?

I read another article on this which said that the actual Butt Drag move consists of grabbing your opponent's asscheek, not shoving fingers up his/her ass. It's alleged that this kid did stick his fingers up his opponent's ass, and his defence is 'No I didn't I just grabbed his asscheek'.

Naturally there's lots of victim-blaming going on, with Master Shittyfingers' parents insisting the other kid is making it up for revenge, and people making buttons that say '#buttdrag' because sexual assault is hilarious.

This isn't the first time this has been disputed in court. Hence the previous comment of "UFIA," which became sort of Fark slang after an article a couple years back where a judge ruled on an "unsolicited finger in anus," hence UFIA. The original article link is long dead, but the headline was basically "Judge determines unsolicited finger in anus is crude, but not criminal" which... basically summed up what the judge said.

Well, shoulder checking someone hard enough to hospitalize them is normally a crime. Do it in the NHL, however, and they'll give you a medal. Being engaged in a sport at the time of doing something otherwise blatantly illegal seems to give you some leeway.
