| Lynn Chandnois Dead at 86 Being a Detroit based paper, the article cares mostly about what he did at MSU (namely, intercept the fuck out of passes). But what's really important is that he played for the Steelers from 1950 until 1956, going to two Pro Bowls and winning the 1952 NFL Player of the Year Award. He's second all time in average kick off return yardage. It's sad to see a running back die at such an age, especially when you consider the safety measures in place back then to ensure their good health. Oh, he could have trucked Dr. Who.
