Need a new ending for Ace Attorney fic

I'm really unsatisfied with the ending to my fic for the Phoenix Wright Big Bang (which I need to have ready to post on Thursday D:)

As it stands, Viola ends up in the hospital due to a bad medication reaction, it gets fixed, other characters take care of her, she goes home. Whoopee. Thing is, as I was writing it a theme sort of wrote itself in, with Viola being frustrated by her sickliness and hating her weakness, and it really needs resolving. So I need a way for her to feel powerful or at least comfortable with herself.

My first thought was sex (big surprise) because there have been allusions to a switchy BDSM dynamic and knifeplay earlier in the fic, but I don't imagine a lot of people are ready for sex straight out of the hospital.

I tried to avoid too many specifics there because the fic is for a fest, but I can elaborate if necessary. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Do something unrelated that she's been putting off for a while?

Hmm, I don't think I have anything that fits. It'd be nice if it was something her relationship partners could participate in. I could do something mafia related but I don't know that I have enough of a setup for that...

Maybe just have it end with going out on a walk or similar, one shes planned in and intends to do everyday, as a means to help her become stronger physically, ahve her partners with her as support if ya want.

Ya know, instead of ending on "I felt weak until this moment" go "I felt weak so I'm gonna start working on making myself less so". but then taht's just mean, feeling stronger and more confident in yourself is a gradual thing, showing the start of her planned jorney and letting your readers fill in how far they think she made it is, imo the best route.

You know, I think you're on to something there. It's a bit of a delicate line to walk since her weakness is medical, and that'll never just disappear, but she can maybe start to realize that she can do more than she thought, and at the very least she can take a more active part in taking care of herself.
