Terrorist attack on American soil

So, someone detonated a bomb in a public area... that's terrorism, right?

The FBI certainly think so.

Funnily enough, this terrorist attack hasn't had much media coverage...

The Canadian media can be just as bad. A couple of weeks ago Macleans, the Canadian equivalent of Time, had an article on attempted terrorist attacks on the US in recent years. In my quick skim I saw zip mention of the Hutaree nutbars in Michigan, whose plan to murder cops in an attempt to start a revolution sure sounds like terrorism to me. Nor were acts of anti-abortion violence, which includes the murder of George Tiller and firebombing clinics. Instead it was all about Muslim extremists.

Of course. Only brown people can be terrorists (and sometimes the Irish).

If the "man bites dog" rules apply, this should have made the front page.

Except that the news today aren't exactly news... more like revision.
