Poor cat, even without a human level of comprehension that sort of thing can't be easy. Also, that article has photos of the kittens. Don't scroll down if you'd rather not see.

Edit: Apparently this happened in 2006, so it's not news, though Godawful it certainly is.

Well whoever did this is obviously a psycho, so it wouldn't come as a surprise if the perpetrator moves onto mutilating and killing people next. I only hope he gets caught, arrested and/or sectioned before he strikes again.

The only way this makes sense would be if someone was in a dire need to do a Voigt-Kampf test and didn't have the equipment.

Sectioned is to be declared mentally unstable and a danger to yourself and/or other people, and as such placed in a psychiatric hospital.
