So, this was on the "Something Bad Happened to Me Today" thread on The Couch.

Okay: when you think of Alan Moore, what is the first word that comes to your mind?

Brilliant? Genre-defying? Slightly crazy but fabulous? Hirsute?

What about Neil Gaiman?

The appropriate, healthy response to seeing these two geniuses is, "Yes, that's all very well and good, but it needs more KAWAII."

Yes, there's now a comic based on Gaiman-tan and Moore-tan, fappable lolis both, apparently.

What groundbreaking work, you say. Finally, a way to combine eyes the size of saucers and latent pedophilia with Alan Moore's friendly but impenetrable facial hair.

What I propose is that, in this same unique, beautiful spirit, we make ~~**Kawaii Moe Desu**~~ lolis out of... things that would not normally be lolis.

I'll try and finish my Lovecraft-tan today but making Lovecraft kawaii is a lot harder than it looks. Giant forehead/chin and elf ears oh dear.

And obviously Lovecraft-tan and Poe-tan are BFFs.

Started on Ayn Rand-tan and Marx-tan, got bored, went to eat dinner. Came back, tried to draw Howard Hughes-tan* (moving out of the realm of writers), but then lost interest.

Naw man, she's very good at the classical stuff, I think. Also, I like her outfits. And a few of her songs. And maybe, MAYBE I have her book.

I don't have her book but that's kind of my opinion on her. Basically if it's instrumental it's worth listening to and occasionally when she's not trying too hard she produces a good vocal song. Like Marry Me. That song ruled.

That being said apparently she plans to release Bach's complete partitas and dances at some point in the future. I'm excited.

I am laughing so hard right now.
