You know what pro basketball needs? An all-Caucasian league!

I'd just like to say I remember when Larry Byrd wasn't the only white player people could name.

The only players I can name full stop are Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar . And I've never even seen footage of the third guy playing.

I know nothing about Basketball.

Freezer, you left out the fact that the media doesn't give a hoot in hell about "fundamental" anything in sports.

This is the ESPN era, the YouTube era. Nobody cares if you can execute the pick and roll perfectly. Nobody goes to watch a perfect box out.

They want to see some poor scrubini get posterized by a guy doing a tomahawk dunk that shatters the freakin' backboard. That's what people want.

They tried that in the early 90s with the WBL - who's main gimmick was that there was a 6' 6" height cap. It folded in five season (the Canadian teams lasted a couple years longer as their own league). Though we did get John Starks and Mario Elle out of the deal.

I'm going to guess, based on the last twenty five years of bad blood, most Ravens fans are probably rooting for the Saints.

Considering how many times I've heard "motherfucking Colts" or various other versions, I'm going to go with that conclusion Trio. Here's hoping for the Saints.
