TheIan dropped a link to this tumblr-based comic in the chatbox twenty minutes ago. Project AFTER Comics is a spin-off (I think) of something called Project AFTER which is kind of like this board only even more pretentious. I couldn't be fucked looking at the actual Project AFTER site or pawing through its forum, but the tumblr comic is something else. The art is lazy and shit, and I'm not even sure the creator knows what jokes are. For example, what the fuck is this bullshit? Who is this guy and why is he yelling? Why is all the action taking place "offscreen"? Is it some metaphor about showing and not telling?
This is not a conversation that people would have ever. It's a clumsily contrived setup engineered purely for the sake of the LOL GHEY punchline.
This one is actually funny. Probably because it's saying exactly the same thing everyone else has been saying about bronies since they first started writing colourful horse porn, instead of whatever disjointed ideas came into the creator's head after huffing computer cleaner.
And how delightful! The creator seems to have a nice big chip on hir shoulder about transfolk and how they imagine themselves to be at risk of getting raped and killed because their biological sex doesn't match their presented gender, because certainly that never happens in real life or anything.
look at the hands, goddamn
This is a conversation the creator wishes s/he had with hir friends but only thought of it hours later when the moment had passed and so shat out a comic about it
Seriously, check out the rest of it for yourselves.

I actually don't find that one funny. Probably because it, like all of the comics, cries out to be read in a flat monotone by a satellite navigation system.

I initially thought this was just "BUUUUH! First World Problems!!!" actually. Cos y'know, we can't talk about anything bad that happens anywhere but in a famine struck African country, because it's not important by comparison.
But having poked around some more, you're right. He or she just doesn't like transfolk: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The best part is that it's effectively the same joke or political point as the other one. I'm sure there's one with the transfolk character bemoaning their lot juxtaposed with Jews dying in a concentration camp. And if there isn't, it'll be written within six months.

Forget the hands. What is this? I don't understand. Is there meant to be a joke in here or something?
I've gone through about twenty of these and they're just shockingly unfunny. It's like a clown's funeral where Andy Parsons is the celebrant. This somehow manages to be less funny than just saying "HURR Cancer!!!". And that's coming from someone whos basically done that with their screen-name. This is what happens when someone who a) isn't funny and b) smells their own farts tries to produce two or three comics a week.
And I tried to read their forum for about 2 seconds until it became too unbearably hideous to look at. I think the theme they're using is called "blood on bloody shit".

I just realized something, I'm possibly the only WGWer aside from Nihilist or Knorg who's never legitimately raged.

Man, I am looking at some of the stuff they have linked in "The Essentials" and... yesh. I have done quote-every-line before, I am not inclined to get on people's asses about it, but when you do quote-every-line on a only-really-sub-par tome like Fallout: Equestria it just does not work. Not every line is funny. You cannot make every line funny. You are not even trying to make every line funny because you are asking us to read entire block paragraph that you are just going to punctuate with a pant-obvious observation. If you want to do shit MST3K-style you either need to be a humor god or you need to stick with the short and insane fics like, IDK, Oscar and Dr. Thinker and ComicsNix. Except that Nix is a troll, but you get my point.

This was more like it. The modest-sized airport was built, as DJ would find out most things in Worcester-3 are, into the side of a hill (actually, a sizable plateau, big enough for the runways), and below the hilltop terminal building was a two-level parking garage which had entrances and exits from the two-switchbacked access road running up the hillface from the city. Assuming the two G-men didn't have backup, they couldn't chase him and cover all the exits; it was only a matter of avoiding them in the garage, and a little bit of luck in picking the right exit, and he could elude them and get into the city proper.
What he was going to do then, he had no idea, but what the hell... it beat being dragged away to who knows where by the Men in Black.
Does he care that these guys might have been sent to pick him up and take him where he's supposed to go? No, because they're just agents of the government of the United States. Now, if they had a nice pair of titties, he might be more inclined to stop and listen. But they don't, so tough shit. For them.
TOO LONG; FUCK YOU.

Don't mean to necro, but it seems the oafs over at Project AFTER have finally taken notice of us.
So what do?

Oh man, why did I post a Bob the Builder video in response to that one thing?
Like.... I really don't remember what internal logic I was working on!
I KNOW! I was self-consciously parodying their comics by making my punch-line an utter non-sequitur.
Yeahhhhh... that was exactly what I was doing...
Also, who really cares if they know who we are?
