Battletoads

Recently I purchased a Retron 3 which plays all NES games; including the learning tree games that exploited the NES lockout chip, and I finally got to play Battletoads for myself.

Overall the game's pretty good.

Every level I'm amazed by the detail that is found in the fighting system, the boss battles, and the parallax backgrounds that defy what I believed what an NES could do.

Level 3 is especially ball busting...... for a baby. I've obviously been playing video games for too long.

Battletoads is a pretty good game and is as expected from Rareware. It'a a real shame that Microsoft has them making Kinect Wii sports ripoffs now.

Exodia's Right Leg has obviously been fucked up by the internet. I mean seriously. Who even cites the existence of a meme that obviously has no place in a topic about serious game discussion.

All poor little Ratchy wanted to do is reminisce about a game that is actually pretty good.
