Beatrice The Golden got banned from Fanfiction.net!!!

Anybody here about a terrible Hetalia fanfic writer named Beatrice The Golden? For those who don't know, she is infamous for writing godawful fsanfiction with stories including everything to bestiality to scat. She's written many gems like America getting boned by the whale and several shota rape stories. One of her nastiest stories involved America laying eggs, and Russia kidnapping him and making him his sex slave, and forcing him to give birth to baby tentacle monsters! Well, fanfiction.net finally grew a brain and banned her sorry ass for violating their TOS a hundred times over! She's mad as hell as seen here on her tumbl and deviantart accounts:

everyone that uses the m-rating on ff violates the tos though so why did only she get banned
i mean i don't even like her fics and i think her getting banned is total bullshit
ff is fucking up big time

They could probably delete half of the Hetalia category and they still wouldn't be rid of all the stories that break the rules.

I remember a time when they were pretty trigger-happy with the way they enforced their rules. Obviously times have changed, but I'm still so paranoid about it that I just can't bring myself to post smut there even though everyone is doing it.

It's gotten too big to effectively police. You'd need a massive team of moderators working 24 hours a day for a year to remove everything that's been reported, never mind all the fics that violate the TOS.

Yes, and even then I can't see it working. The more people working to delete the stories, the more discrepancy there would be. Two moderators might have different opinions on what's too juicy for the M rating and so on. Plus, I very much prefer scrolling past a few interactive letter fics and bad porn to the atmosphere of fear that prevailed in some fandoms around 2004 or so. In some corners of the site, you had to walk on your toes and not offend anyone because if someone decided to have petty revenge on you and report your story for rule violations, it was usually deleted without anyone checking if any rules had actually been broken.

Is fanfiction.net even a thing anymore?

Before I got into Hetalia last year, FF.Net was the only place where I looked for fanfics. It's a really good place for lots of cartoon fandoms or fandoms that are so small they don't have their own communities or websites. Kim Possible and Zorro are two really good examples of fandoms that are primarily on FF.Net and don't completely suck.

what i want to know is why they don't just make an ma-rating
from what i've heard they used to have one, but got rid of it for some reason
they need to bring it back because all people do now is use the m-rating for posting things that would ordinarily go under the ma-category

I think they got rid of it because hosting smutfic left them exposed legally or something. Definitely something with real-world consequences.

I'm personally kinda sad she got banned. Yeah, some of the stuff she wrote is a little out there but it was interesting to read and satisfied kinks I didn't know I had until I read what she wrote. Thanks for the links! I was looking for those when I came across this!
