According to this source, he is claiming that he called the police then went back to his car when Martin attacked him.

This, combined with another so-called "witness" that claimed Martin attacked Zimmerman when Zimmerman approached him and the Bullshit Quotient just keeps rising.

What the fuck does it matter if there was a scuffle before Trayvon Martin was shot? Dipshit was prowling round his neighbourhood with a fucking gun, looking for people he didn't like, and not content with calling the cops on this young man and his deadly box of Skittles, he got out of his fucking car and followed him. What's he saying now, that Martin tried to take the gun off him and so he was in fear for his life? IF HE HADN'T HAD A GUN WITH HIM THEN MARTIN COULDN'T HAVE GONE FOR IT.

Hey, here's a hypothetical question for everyone - if a person can shoot an unarmed minor and not be arrested because that person claims s/he was in fear for hir life, what's stopping someone shooting Zimmerman and getting away with it, because after all he's a dangerous lunatic who hangs around the neighbourhood with a gun, and shot a kid? Doesn't that sound like someone that a neighbour would legitimately fear?

Every non-Fox News-esque source I've seen report that Zimmerman has a track record of calling 911 and reporting suspicious blacks in the neighborhood. A few of those sources have said Zimmerman has used racial epithets during some of those calls.

Don't know if he shot Martin just because of his race, but it's pretty damn clear Zimmerman started trailing him because of it.

I was going to say, if that guy lived around here he'd be mightely confused, giving that pretty much everyone of both sexes and all ethnic groups wear hoodies. Including people in their 50s and 60s.

From what I understand (which is, admittedly, from playing GTA, Saints Row and watching movies) it's more the colours and designs than the hoodie itself.

Seriously, if every kid I know who's ever smoked weed or disagreed with an authority figure were shot, we'd have to close down the damned school. And most of the kids I know, despite their less than brilliant moments (which, quite frankly, we all have, especially during adolescence), are okay people.

It's reported that Zimmerman was injured, so that brings up the question--if Trayvon Martin was responsible for the injuries, did he attack, or was he defending himself? Zimmerman was told not to follow him, but did anyway--I know I would feel threatened if an armed person was following me and acting like he thought I deserved to be harmed.

Why aren't any of these fucks wondering if maybe, just maybe, Trayvon attacked the guy (if Trayvon attacked first) because HE SAW HE WAS BEING FOLLOWED BY A MAN WITH A GUN. If some guy was following me and then approached me with a gun I would sure as hell go for the gun too.
