My favorite part is Harry saying that killing Ron isn't murder because he's not human and that it was self defense and in a just world no jury would convict her.
A) That's not your call. The entire point in a legal system is that you don't write off people. It's the jury's job to decide.
B) Self-defense kind of stopped at the begging for his life part, I can imagine how the court case would go.
Harry: Alright, son, can you tell the judge what happened that night?
Hugo: Well, mum started yelling at dad, so dad struck her a couple of times. Then she got angry and used ass-pullius to beat the crap out of daddy.
Harry: See, perfect self-defense.
Hugo: Then he was crying and bleeding and begging for mercy when mum crushed his chest and then maliciously and deliberately snapped his neck.
Harry: Oh, gee. Um, that's a lot less...
Hugo: Then she turned him into a log and ran away with us.
Harry: Yeah, I really should have thought this through before climbing into this bed.
