What the hell? The New Scientist has been going downhill of late. The headlines are getting all sensational ("DARWIN WAS WRONG"), and I'm sure the content of the articles has become decidedly less scientific. But ripping off Cracked... the fuck?

I haven't read New Scientist in a long while. I all but forgot about it. This was the first thing I saw upon my glorious return to their website. This!

To be fair, this sort of list is a very common article format on a great many sites. Beyond that, there's not much comparison; for example, this list didn't go for the overt snarkiness of those on Cracked or the Onion (among others).
