The premise behind Yahoo!Answers is clever: like eBay, only about knowledge. But it should be a written principle that every Internet resource get abused for retarded purposes sooner or later.

The system has been conceived by an optimistic boy-scout who never left his parents' house. Users can pose as other users, adopting their nickname and avatar. Users can give themselves the Best Answer. They can get multiple account and spend days arguing with their sockpuppets. They can report questions and answers for no other reason than it looked like a good idea at the time. What with the layoffs in the Yahoo! corporation, more and more customer support relies on bots.

I'm trying to pull out and leave the place to the trolls, but now and again I feel pulled to the dark side of the Force and spend some sarcasm in the Religion & Spirituality section.

Do you have any horror stories about Y!A you want to share? Or do you want to hear some?
