Well, that's one of about 5 separate webcomics on RH Junior's site, and he's got a LiveJournal filled with post after post of tl;dr reactionary tirades-- my personal favorite has him bellowing, "WHA DYA HAET MURRICA" at a Sinfest comic and taking genuine offense to the notion that smallpox from Europeans killed a lot of Native Americans. Bonus points for one of the comments unironically quoting Rush Limbaugh.

So yeah, the sheer dedication and the lack of self-awareness make it likely that this guy's for real.

Re: terrible furry art: the artist in Lackadaisy can draw, and does so with finesse, although that's mostly because she has nothing to do with the actual furry fandom and has had experience drawing lots of things that aren't furries.

Even so it seems the other furries find the camel annoying. You know the argument for racial profiling doesn't annoy me nearly as much as the garbled English the camel speaks, because you know all immigrants talk that way. Rolling Eyes

I don't think so, personally. I mean, the artist behind Lackadaisy apparently had no idea what a "furry" is. She just used cats because she could make their eyes big and expressive.

I honestly don't care. It's close enough to make my point. Most "furry" art isn't created that way because it has something to say, or because it adds something to the work, but because it's easier to ape one style than become talented enough to work in many.

Look at those comics above with the camel. Draw the characters as humans, and nothing is lost except mild racism, and nothing is gained except maybe a tiny sliver of dignity.
