You gotta appreciate how Skype tried to muddle waters by changing the colours, the font and the spacing, then added the 3D effect and the 'cloud' background to confuzzle casual viewers. Clearly they knew someone would catch up sooner or later! Guilty, guilty.

To be fair, they kinda are.

You know who Skype really stole from? Spike Lee, man! Everyone knows that everyone else thinks Skype is his. All the letters (with "kewl" y instead of the i), what else can it possibly be?

God-damn, Murdoch'll be sueing the sky for being blue next.

It's the goddamn fucking english alphabet, Murdoch! Letters have this tendency to look remarkably alike. That's why we're able to spell words with them.

On a related topic, Apple are now in a legal dispute with the British T.V broadcaster ITV over Apple plans to launch the rebranded Apple T.V server system, under the name iTV...
(The new version of the Apple TV system, according to a item in the Daily Telegraph, is due for a possible launch sometime next month in the U.S, & specification wise is reportedly based on the iPad, or at least shares common components with it, such as the A4 Processor & 16/32Gb Flash Memory as used by the iPad...
One possibility is, that a to be released iPad App may allow you either, control of the "iTV" system via Wi-Fi, or act as the display for it i.e you could watch T.V streamed from the "iTV" server on your iPad...)

That one makes a bit more sense though, because iTV's business is more similar to ITV's and if nothing else having the exact same name will fuck over ITV's search rankings.

Jesus H. Christ and all his blessed angels...is there anybody on this planet Murdoch ISN'T threatening to sue?

I've heard of frivolous lawsuits, but this is a whole new level of crazy. I hope the courts throw this thing out bag and baggage and make Murdoch pay every last dime(or should I say shilling? ) of the defendants' legal costs.
