The DBZ fic I'm writing now is going to have a wedding near the end.
Problem is, it's going to be for those two in my avatar. Both guys, in other words.
What should I use to fill in the gaps in "I now pronounce you [blank] and [blank], you may kiss the [blank]?" (For that matter, how do gay marriages in this world handle it?)

An easy substitute for "I now pronounce you husband and wife." that some same-sex vows use is "I now pronounce you partners for life."

"You may now kiss each other" seems alright too.

Given that the few weddings we've had glimpses of are at least Western-influenced, and add the fact that the Briefs family is very definitely more Western-based than Oriental (as opposed to the Son family), I think it works.

It's Dragonball. You are overthinking this. You could have a wedding ceremony composed of cake-throwing and fart lighting and it wouldn't be a stretch.
