1.) I don't see how pointing out that the ACA is not free healthcare is "Dittohead" 2.) I don't see why you think Mikey is worried about "scoring points" with ANYONE here - Mikey Go WOOGA wrote:

It's an old term for Rush Limbaugh fans.

Given Mikey's favorite sports teams, I don't think he's ever cared about 'scoring points' in any venue.

| I've been gone for a long time, and really had no interest in reviving this thread until I saw this [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - Quote :
- Last week on his talk radio program, Michael Savage got into an argument with a caller over whether California lawmakers should rename a San Francisco tunnel in honor of Robin Williams. The caller, who said he was a veteran suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), defended the move, while Savage objected to the plan, claiming that it would promote suicide.
After a lengthy argument, Savage hung up on the caller and proceeded to attack him. “I am so sick and tired with everyone with their complaints about PTSD, depression. Everyone wants their hand held and a check, a government check. What, are you the only generation that had PTSD? The only generation that’s depressed?”
...
Savage continued that veterans with PTSD are a “bunch of losers” and recommended that they be more like Michael Savage.
“You need men like me to save the country,” he said. “You need men to stand up and say stop crying like a baby over everything.” He continued that “men are so weak and so narcissistic” that it is “no wonder ISIS can defeat our military.” I know I said I'd try to avoid going all Easy Mode and reposting stuff from RWW, but this is sufficiently infuriating to warrant an exception.

And with that Savage officially takes back the crown of "radio's biggest lunatic" from Alex Jones.

I'll bet he's an independent the way Bill O'Reilly used to be. People like O'Reilly and Savage use the "independent" label so they can claim they're not just parroting Republican party line, even though that's what they do. From what I can tell, Savage is a male Ann Coulter: a disgusting troll who makes a career out of stirring up shit. The sooner everyone, I mean, everyone, starts ignoring both of them, the better. It'd also be nice if they didn't have radio stations where they can spew continuously.

or maybe they're idealogical extremists who really are independent because the republican party line isn't extreme enough for them

| So I guess I could just repost RWW stuff, outside of the usual "GAYS R GON THROW US IN JAIL" and the like, which happens every day. No, this'll be reserved for truly batshit insane stories outside of the norm. Stories like this: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] - Quote :
- Conservative columnist and former Reagan administration aide Douglas MacKinnon is out with a new book calling for Southern states to secede…again.
While speaking yesterday with Janet Mefferd about his book, “The Secessionist States of America: The Blueprint for Creating a Traditional Values Country…Now,” MacKinnon called for a movement of states, starting with South Carolina, Georgia and Florida, to establish a new country that will adhere to the Religious Right’s political agenda. Southern secessionism, nothing new here, right? But wait, it gets better - Quote :
- After lamenting that “for whatever reason the leaders that we’re picking are deciding not to stand firmly for traditional values,” MacKinnon repeated his view that a new country should be formed, and even proposed an “interim name” for the ultraconservative breakaway nation: “Reagan."
Yes, REAGAN. I can't think of a better name for backwards shithole of a country.

| From Rep. Jon Hubbard of Jonesboro, in a book available on Amazon, “Letters to the Editor: Confessions of a Frustrated Conservative.”
“… the institution of slavery that the black race has long believed to be an abomination upon its people may actually have been a blessing in disguise. The blacks who could endure those conditions and circumstances would someday be rewarded with citizenship in the greatest nation ever established upon the face of the Earth.” (Pages 183-89)
“Wouldn’t life for blacks in America today be more enjoyable and successful if they would only learn to appreciate the value of a good education?” (Page 184)
“… one of the stated purposes of school integration was to bring black students up to a level close to that of white students. But, to the great disappointment of everyone, the results of this theory worked exactly in reverse of its intended purpose, and instead of black students rising to the educational levels previously attained by white students, the white students dropped to the level of black students. To make matters worse the lack of discipline and ambition of black students soon became shared by their white classmates, and our educational system has been in a steady decline ever since.” (Page 27) It's basically hopeless.
“… will it ever become possible for black people in the United States of America to firmly establish themselves as inclusive and contributing members of society within this country?” (Page 187) Immigration is bad.
..the immigration issue, both legal and illegal... will lead to planned wars or extermination. Although now this seems to be barbaric and uncivilized, it will at some point become as necessary as eating and breathing." (Page 9)

Immigration is bad.
(snip) First off, as a well-educated black male who happens to have a degree, I'm vaguely insulted by this. On the issue of immigration however, I will agree that immigration (illegally) is an issue, I will also however say that the people protesting against deportation for obvious illegals need to be slapped and told how stupid they are, I don't see the Demmiecrats doing that anytime soon. However, I HARDLY doubt immigration laws are going to lead to planned extinction events (PEE's) Or another holocaust, that's just stupid on the levels of boehner. (or obamacare upping the pay rate from 500 to nearly 5000)

Checking a book out of the library isn't pirating.
