| I'm going to go ahead and like Family Guy again before liking Family Guy again is cool.
But I do want to be clear, Brian/Stewie eps were the only reason why I watched that show past 2004.

Why yes, when Stewie became nothing more than "a ha ha aren't the gays so charmingly droll a ha ha, what if they were a baby, ha ha" Brilliant

Brilliant In the earlier Brian/Stewie episodes, Stewie was still more evil than gay. Really, most of the Brian/Stewie episodes kind of tone down Stewie's gayness. The only exception I can think of was the one where Stewie was a girl on Pepperidge Farms or some silly shit.

| Not really.
I really can't recall an episode where Brian was aware of Stewie's proclivities before Stewie had been an oh-so-funny gay Britbaby. Admittedly, early on this was Brian playing the straight man (har har) to Stewie being an evil gay baby, but all the same, Stewie was an evil gay baby at that point.

| ^ Yes, I think the one you're thinking of is when Stewie ran off to Jollybugger farm or whatever it was. What I mean is that it was more of a secondary feature to him being an evil genius originally (or just him acting like a two year old when he ran away to Happyjack farm or was a Miley Cyrus fan), and it mostly is still that way in Brian/Stewie episodes. As opposed to every other episode where it's "LOOK AT THE GAY BABY!!1!" | |

| God, I never did make that thread about Family Guy. I'm almost as lazy as the writers of Family Guy. - Mr.Doobie wrote:
- And the only character on the show that isn't a mean-spirited strawman parody of.... something?
Brian was McFarlane's Gary Stu. Occasionally he had moments where he was revealed as a hypocrite and a Liberal Dude. The most interesting thing about him was that he was the only character who was generally nice to Meg, and if McFarlane hadn't left his pot-smoking buddies in charge of the show I'd say that was a subtle interpretation of "she's so ugly only the dog will play with her". - Mikey Go WOOGA wrote:

As opposed to every other episode where it's "LOOK AT THE GAY BABY!!1!" Yeah, the funniest Stewie moments in later episodes are the ones where he behaves like a toddler. "Why does everything have to have a mascot now? Look, there's a lion in overalls on this box of tinfoil. Who's that for? ...Lois, what are you doing? GET THE ONE WITH THE LION IN OVERALLS!" Ditto Brian acting like a dog. A sad commentary on the overall quality of the show, actually.

They never should have stopped drawing him sitting down on his haunches. Back in the days when he was a witty, reasonably intelligent alcoholic, instead of a communist stoner douchebag alcoholic. Oh well, we always have American Dad and The Cleveland Show.

| Danny Wells passed away a few days ago in this, the year of Luigi.
No really Nintendo declared 2013 the year of Luigi and the actor who played him on the Super Mario Brothers Super Show died before the year was out, that is some sad, sad irony right there.
