I think I remember her from some Bob Hope movie my dad was watching once.

Plus, Peter Griffin's mother sounds exactly like her. Never bothered to look it up if it was her or if it was just Sethy Mac mimicking it.

Only other details I've seen have been that it was cardiovascular-related, possibly connected to surgery he had a week ago or so. But yes, a new thread will likely be needed.

At first I was a bit skeptical - or in denial, take your pick - but it looks it's been confirmed. Michael Clarke Duncan passed away as of September 3rd, 2012., at age 54.

This sucks. I hadn't even realised that he had health issues.

I had no idea he was that old. I thought he was in his mid-40s or somesuch.

54 is way too young!!

Well, fuck. I knew he'd had a heart attack, but the reports seemed to indicate that it was a minor one. And then they said he was still in the hospital three weeks later, and I thought, "Well...maybe he's just one of those people who don't heal as quickly." And THEN there weren't any further reports, so I thought, "No news must be good news, right?"

Could his height have caused health problems, maybe?

One movie that he was in that always seems to get left out is Talladega Nights. It's one of my family's favorites.

Terry Nutkins 1946-2012

For non-brits: Imagine Steve Irwin crossed with Mr. Rogers. That's Terry Nutkins.

He was a co-presenter on a BBC Children's nature programme called "The Really Wild Show" that had it's first episode in 1986 and it's last in 2006. That's a 20-year run. My brother and I used to watch it pretty much every week.

Many of you will know Art Modell as the Second Most Hated Man in Cleveland History (behind LeBabby James) for his actions in mismanaging the Cleveland Browns into oblivion for decades. Due to Browns fans' constant whining, he decided to troll them by actually making the team good for once in its sad history, and then moved them to Baltimore and won a championship there.

Ohio still hasn't won a pro sports championship since the '64 Browns.

Truly, Art Modell was a God amongst men and we will never forget his dedication to increasing the suicide rate in Cleveland.

To be honest, I try to stay away from that hole in the ground and the depressed mongoloids that inhabit it. I can just feel a heat radiate forth from Cleveland whenever Art modell was mentioned.
