Cartuneslover16: The all-consuming black hole of crossover fan art

I was first introduced to this artist by my younger brother back when he was interested in a show called Skunk Fu, an obscure cartoon that lasted for about a season and a half. There weren't very many Skunk Fu fan artists at the time, so Cartuneslover's work made up a good portion of the Skunk Fu search results. My brother loathed her from the get go, as all of her Skunk Fu art featured her OC Squirrel.

Squirrel was your textbook Mary Sue self-insert. Her origin story was a carbon copy of the Skunk's (orphan taken in and personally trained by Master Panda), her abilities eclipsed those of the main cast, every male character swooned at the mention of her name, etc. She also had a one true love like every self-respecting Sue, and was hardly ever seen without him.

Her beau was Donatello from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. That's right, a Skunk Fu original character with a Ninja Turtle for a love interest. Let that sink in for a moment. Recently, Cartuneslover has shifted away from Skunk Fu and seems to have shelved Squirrel, and also seems to have gotten better at drawing. Unfortunately, her penchant for inane crossovers and implausible pairings has only grown stronger.

Wait, what am I looking at? I recognise ponies, but not anything else. Although I give them points for effort and skill, it's kinda jarring to see two characters making out in their original styles, if those styles don't match up very well. Makes more sense in my book to draw "invading" characters in the world they're now set in. I.E. everything MLP style. *shrug*

This is the worst acid trip I've ever had. None of these pairings are in the least logical.

EDIT: Nor, apparently, does basic knowledge of how to draw. Those pictures are horrendous.

She is not a fanbart actually, she does LOVE crossovers though which I also love(and she hardy even ships crossover ships anymore she got tired of it), but if you did talk to her, she is a nice mature woman.
